Interchange Coaching helps you step into a new way of being, leading, and discovering purpose.
Michelle A. Waters
Since publishing The Orange Line, I've coached individuals, led workshops, and continued to explore self-limiting beliefs, behaviors, and archetypes, particularly when the 'false self' inhibits both women and men from leading with their integrated true self. I've always been committed to development and in my 20's co-founded Beaconhills College in Australia with currently over 3000 students. Next, I developed my first children's service for the local municipality after a tragic bush fire took our house and ravaged the community. This was followed by founding and managing more children's services.
My curiosity for the development of policies to support working parents led me to relocate to the U.S. from Australia and take on a corporate role and global project. For 20+ years I held management, executive (VP & SVP), consulting, and project management appointments. Described by colleagues as an intra/entrepreneur and organizational change agent, my approach to coaching is holistic, transformational, and founded upon my own courage to go deeper and embrace change.
In the U.S., I co-authored the book The Orange Line: A Woman's Guide to Integrating Career, Family & Life, a study we conducted across the U.S. identifying a woman's self-limiting career beliefs and the skills needed to integrate work, family and purpose. My earlier research on organizational culture, is called Work Friendly Policies: Useful or Symbolic and published in the Asia Pacific Journal of HR.
