Meet Michelle
Be present, be calm, lead authentically and gain financial independence; without burning out.
Interchange helps you step into a new way of being, leading and discovering spiritual wholeness and purpose.
Michelle A. Waters
Since publishing The Orange Line, I've coached individuals, led workshops and continued to explore self-limiting beliefs, behaviors, and archetypes, particularly how the 'false' self inhibits both women and men from leading with their whole integrated and true self. Prior to this, my curiosity and for the development of services to support working women and families led me to relocate to the U.S. from Australia and eventually take on a global work. life family expansion project. The workplace work life strategies and flexible work policies in Australia I worked on, influenced Australian 'Workplace Standards', women in leadership, work family integration and attraction and retention practices. For 20+ years I held corporate management, executive (VP & SVP), consulting, and project management appointments. Described by colleagues as an intra/entrepreneur and organizational change agent, I've always been committed to serving and developing others. In my 20's I co-founded Beaconhills College in Australia with over 3000 students currently enrolled.
My approach to coaching is wholistic, transfotmational and founded upon my courage to go deeper and embrace change.
In the U.S., I co-authored, the book The Orange Line: A Woman's Guide to Integrating Career, Family & Life, a study we conducted across the U.S. identifying a woman's self-limiting career beliefs and the skills needed to integrate work, family and purpose. My earlier research on organizational culture, is called Work Friendly Policies: Useful or Symbolic, Asia Pacific Journal of HR.
I'm fortunate to hold a M. Mgt. and B.Ed. Studies from Monash University, Australia, Certificate of Welfare Studies, Institute of Social Welfare, Victoria, Australia. Joint Diploma, Women & Church, Athaneum Pontifical Regina Apostolerium. I'm a Certified Money Coach (CMC)®, Bohmian Dialogue facilitator and completed the Program on Negotiation for Executives, Harvard Law School. I'm currently an active board memember of Peace Through Commerce, eChange Endeavors, and women's advisor for Braid Theory.
One of the many joys in my life is our incredible family in Australia and leading Contemplative Prayer at St Mel's Parish, Woodland Hills, California where my husband and I presently reside.
